Tithing

I've always had difficulty tithing. What I mean is that I always say that I can't afford to tithe. My brother, an excellent songwriter, recently made a CD of his songs for me. There is a line in the first song called First Fruits.

"If I don't miss it and it's easy,
There's no point to what I've done."

This reminded me that a tithe is kind of like a sacrifice, so to say that I can't afford it, is wrong.
